Terms and Conditions

Quiz Night is a Chaos Creation, run by Rustinew, an independent sole trader business based in Portugal. Payments go through Rustinew, so that's the name you'll see on your card statement. Questions about anything here: support@rustinew.com.

1. These terms

These terms cover your use of Quiz Night at cptchaos.com/creations ("the Service"). By signing up, paying for a plan or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. "We", "us" and "our" means Rustinew; "you" means the person who signs in and runs a quiz on their channel.

2. What the Service is

The Service is a set of live chat games for your Twitch channel: Quiz Night (a live quiz), Scenes We'd Like To See and Wrong Answers Only (chat sends answers and votes with your emotes), and Anagram (a word game, free for any signed-in channel). One plan covers every game:

Basic: every game on your channel. Write your own rounds, run them from a host page, show them on stream with OBS browser sources, let your mods answer on their own page, and start with a pack of ready quiz rounds.
Personalised: everything in Basic, plus your own icon, colours, font and names on screen, our question library and new specialist categories each month while you're subscribed, and the Quiz Night builder.

Plans bought before 18 October 2026 (one game on its own, or the Complete bundle) keep working for what they covered until they end.

Features, the size of the libraries and the monthly categories may change over time. We'll never take away something you've paid for in the middle of a billing period without offering a fair alternative or a refund for that period.

3. Your account and Twitch

You sign in with your Twitch account. You must be at least 18, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you.
When you sign in you allow Quiz Night to read your chat, post in it, and delete quiz answers as they land (so nobody can copy). It only uses these permissions to run your quiz. You can remove them at any time in your Twitch settings under Connections, but the quiz won't be able to run in your chat until you sign in again.
You can also link a separate bot account to post the questions. You're responsible for any account you link.
You're responsible for your own channel, your chat and what your quiz shows. You must follow Twitch's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when you use Quiz Night on Twitch.
Quiz Night isn't made, endorsed or sponsored by Twitch.

4. Plans, payment and renewal

Prices are shown in US dollars on the site and at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
Plans are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel.
If you start a plan while paying for an older one, the older one is cancelled when the new one starts and the unused part of its month is credited to your next bill.
If we ever change the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it for a few days. If it still can't be taken, your quiz switches off until the plan is paid. Your questions and settings stay on your account.

5. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the Billing button on your account page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, then stops. The details of refunds, including the EU 14-day right of withdrawal, are on our refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.

6. Your questions and content

Questions, rounds, settings and images you add are yours. You give us permission to store and display them only to run the Service for you.
Don't add anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or anything you don't have the right to use (including images). We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks this.
Your quiz history includes your viewers' Twitch names and answers from your nights. Keep that in mind if you share screenshots or results.

7. The libraries

Library content is for running games on your own streams while you have a plan that includes it. Anything already added to your game stays in it if your plan changes.
You may not copy, publish, sell or share the library, or large parts of it, outside your own quizzes, or use it to build a competing product or train software on it.
We check every question carefully, but we can't promise every answer is beyond argument. You're the quiz master: you can accept or overrule any answer on the night.

8. Fair use

Please don't try to break, overload or get around the Service, access other people's quizzes, resell access, or use it for anything other than running quizzes. We may suspend or end an account that does, and in serious cases without notice or refund.

9. Availability

We work hard to keep Quiz Night running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of faults. It relies on Twitch, Stripe, our server provider and your own setup (OBS, your internet connection), which are outside our control.

10. Our name and work

Quiz Night, the Chaos Creation name, the site, the scene designs and the question library belong to us. The "Quiz Night is a Chaos Creation" credit on the OBS scene is part of the Service and must stay visible.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or knock-on losses such as lost income, lost viewers or disruption to your stream. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 30 days before the event that caused it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability or consumer right that can't be limited by law.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using Quiz Night at any time. If you'd like your account and data deleted, email us and we'll do it. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change matters, we'll show it on the site before it takes effect. Carrying on using the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes go to the Portuguese courts, without affecting any consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
