Busier than usual
Categories with far more viewers than they normally have at this point: a launch, an update, an event. A crowd that has just arrived hasn't settled on its favourite channels yet.

Busier than usual, with room for you
You'd be on the first page in these right now. A crowd that has just arrived is still looking around.

Busier than usual, but crowded at your size
Worth knowing about, but you'd be past the first page. Big launches fill up with big channels first.

What these numbers mean
- 5.2×
- How many times its usual number of viewers the category has right now. Usual means the same category over the last week, leaving out the last day, so a category climbing all day is compared with what it was, not with its own rise.
- Only real crowds
- A category has to usually have at least 25 viewers to be listed, so one channel bringing its audience into an empty category can't look like a boom. "Room for you" also needs an open audience of at least 50 right now: everyone watching except the three biggest channels' viewers.
- What to do with it
- The first group is the useful one: a sudden crowd plus a place on the first page. If one is a game you'd happily play, it can be worth switching to while it lasts. Most surges fade within a day or two.
